Default Healing Light?

Last night I realized that Healing Light is horrible.

Healing Light; 5 energy, 1 cast, 4 recharge.
Elite Spell. Heal target ally for 40...88 Health. If your target has an Enchantment, you gain 1...3 Energy. (Attribute: Healing Prayers)

Now, look at this:

Soothing Memories; 5 energy, 1 cast, 5 recharge.
Spell. Target ally is healed for 10...82 Health. If you are holding an item, you gain 3 Energy. (Attribute: Restoration Magic)

You can use Attuned Was Songkai and Arcane Echo to spam Soothing Memories for absolutely free while Healing Light is just... lame. Enchantments can be shattered, but YOU have to drop your ashes. Even when they're both at 16, Soothing Memories heals for 2 more points than Healing Light.
... So why the hey is Healing Light elite and Soothing Memories not?

Healing Light heals for a lot more and recharges faster. How can it heal a lot more? How can you say Soothing Memories heals 2 more points than Healing Light?

Divine Favor at 15 with Healing Prayers at 16 heals more than Restoration at 16 and Spawing Power at 15.

Attuned lasts 45 to 50 seconds, recharges in 60. Enchantments can be removed, but so what.

I throw Watchful Spirit on ally and it gets removed. It heals target ally once removed.

I can throw Dwayna's Sorrow as well or even Aegis. Anyway, does it deserve to be an elite, since its the only spell that gives you back energy as a monk, I guess so. Why doesn't Soothing Memories deserve to be an elite, probably because the downsides of it. You must be holding on to an item. While it cannot be removed by anyone but you, you must have a skill that gives you an item, or you must pickup an item (torch, box, gear, etc.). This means that you must lose all benefits of your weapon and off-hand items.

Enchantments can be cast by others, so the monk doesn't necessarily need to bring one.

Besides, as a monk, I wouldn't mind bringing Word of Healing or Blessed Light with Healing Light (if Healing Light wasn't an Elite).

Well, this is my belief.
